THE ROMITI FAMILY

Hospitality is for us a family tradition.

Our story begins in the early 1900s when people used to have the “caffenetto” in our family’s bakery in the sunny afternoons of a rural and living Italy.

Soon the bakery became a restaurant, in 1950 people came from the countryside to taste delicious and genuine dishes in a simple atmosphere but at the same time rich in friendliness and kindness.

Spartaco Romiti was nicknamed “the wizard” of the cuisine and he was well known in the surrounding areas thanks to his incomparable game-based specialties,in perfect combination with the Lacrima wine. Those recipes and those authentic flavours do not belong only to the past, now as then, delicious dishes “cooked like people used to” are served in the same rooms recalling the atmosphere of the past.

The Shanti House hotel was born thanks to our experience and passion for hospitality: a modern, welcoming villa surrounded by the green of our Marchigiane hills.
