Villa Shanti House is own by Romiti family. A classic family with true love for hospitality since over four generations. The first activity dates back to the great World War in 1910 when their grangranfather Settimio that used to serve “Caffenetto” and his wife Palmira that use to cook meals for people during events and fairs. From then n , they’ve transmitted this passion to their children nd grandsons. During the years this activity turned into a Tavern, Trattoria and Restaurant. Precisely Dal Mago Restaurant, in memory of Spartaco, “the magician of the game”.
We will discover and teach you the most of our Traditional dishes, right in line with the memories and recipes of our Grandmothers.
A cooking class in this area is a once of a lifetime experience, a special day or week to spend with locals.
Our chef – Ilaria, will bring you on a special tour trough our castle, Morro d’alba to visit the local vegetables farms and to harvest some of our magic primary ingredients then back to class where we will all cook together . At the end of the hands-on cooking session, we will sit down around the table and enjoy the meal together, like a real family.
Main course will be served with local Verdicchio(white) and Lacrima(red) wine, our DOC masterpieces . Ilaria will guide you throught the various recipes,cusiorities and recommendation about the choice of the the right wine matching the meals.
Our program is comprehensive and can be joined by people of all ages.
